Founder and President, John C. Macdougall has one simple rule; “Do what you say you’re going to do, and do it well.” It’s that rule that helps keep customers happy and worry-free. With over 40 years of experience in the swimming pool industry, you can rest assured that every pool project from design, to construction, to service and maintenance is approached with the careful eye of a true professional.

In order to ensure that every project is done well, all of the technicians at American Pool Service are required to attain ASPI and CPO certification. Every year they attend classes and seminars to keep current with industry standards and new product technologies. Unlike other pool contractors, we maintain a full-time, knowledgeable office staff to handle all customer requests for service and quickly dispatch our crews every day.

Located at 12 Mitchell Rd, Ipswich, MA, our six-acre site and 15,000 square foot facility is one of the largest and well equipped on the North Shore.
